Academic Senate Faculty Distinguished Research Award
The Faculty Distinguished Research Award is the highest honor of the Davis Division of the Academic Senate and recognizes transformative research or creative work. Recipients have been UC Davis faculty for at least 10 years and are outstanding scholars and researchers, recognized as international leaders in their disciplines. The awardee shares their work with the campus community through a public lecture on a topic of the recipient’s choice. (May not be awarded to SVM faculty every year.)
